Tuna Fish Sandwich Yield: 2 A recipe is merely words on paper; a guideline, a starting point from which to improvise. It cannot pretend to replace the practiced hand and telling glance of a watchful cook. For that reason this is also an account of what happens when I make this dish so you’ll understand each step. Of course when you cook it once it becomes yours so personalize it a bit. Add more of an ingredient you like or less of something you don’t like. Try substituting one ingredient for another. Remember words have no flavour, you have to add your own! Ingredients: Tuna Fish Sandwich 1 can of water-packed tuna 1 tsp lemon juice 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 tbsp minced red onion 1 tbsp minced celery 1 tbsp chopped parsley Salt and pepper 4 slices of whole wheat bread handful of potato chips Directions: Tuna Fish Sandwich Flake the tuna with a fork then mix it with the lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, onion, celery, and parsley. Have a taste then add enough salt and pepper to season to your liking. Spread a thick layer of the tuna salad on two slices of bread. Top with a layer of crisp potato chips. Slap on the remaining bread. Press down a bit to even out the chips then have a huge bite. Remember to share the other one!

Ingrédients

  • 850 mL de farine
  • 30 mL de levure chimique
  • 5 mL de sel
  • 45 mL de sucre
  • 5 jaunes d'oeufs
  • 725 mL de lait
  • 5 carrés de chocolat mi-sucré
  • 100 mL de beurre fondu
  • 6 blancs d'oeufs

Préparation

1. Tamiser la farine avec la levure chimique, le sel et le sucre.

2. Battre les jaunes d'oeufs.

3. Ajouter aux jaunes d'oeufs, le lait, le chocolat fondu au bain-marie et le beurre fondu.

4. Verser les ingrédients liquides sur les ingrédients secs. Bien mélanger.

5. Incorporer les blancs d'oeufs montés en neige.

6. Cuire dans une poêle graissée, à raison de 125 ml (1/2 tasse) par crêpe.
